Reminders:
• The annual king street arts festival is Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14. This year, there will be added activity behind the torpedo factory, in the form of a hands on activity stage located behind the art center, on the brick, in the vicinity of where they usually set up the large tent for private events , although this is a public event. There will also be bands under the gazebo. At night, there will be art movies/pictures shown on this activity stage. There is also a waterfront bar which will be at night, within a roped in area.
• Taste of Georgetown
On Saturday, September 13, 2014, the annual Taste of Georgetown will take place in the District of Columbia, from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Roads close at 8:00 am and will be reopened by 9:00 pm. In conjunction with this event, there will be several street closures that motorists should take into consideration:
• K Street NW between Wisconsin Ave & Thomas Jefferson Street, NW
